We encourage all researchers to use their own cameras/phones to make copies of images from our collections for their personal research use. We can supply a limited number of photocopies and scans to researchers with our compliments. We reserve the right to limit certain reproduction requests based on condition, size, or staff time.

Upon request and review, we generally can supply high-res images from our collections for publication. As of August 1, 2022, we no longer charge reproduction or use fees for such images. Researchers may be asked to complete our Request for Permission to Publish, Exhibit, or Broadcast form before an image is supplied. 

Audio-visual reproduction requests will be evaluated as they are made and may be refused or limited due to size, condition of materials, or potential use of staff time to fulfill a large or difficult request.
