Acquisition

In February 1961, Rev. F. Townley Lord gave a small photo album showing an early Baptist hymnbook (marked with “73”). Mrs. F. Townley Lord [Alice (Enwisle)] gave her husband’s papers in October 1963 (marked with “83”) and additional material in December 1969. In 1964, Dr. John W. Bradbury, former editor of Watchman-Examiner, gave a draft of Lord’s book, Cultural Factors in Christian History (marked with “84”).
