The manuscripts were donated to Special Collections and Archives by Steve Richardson in 2004.

Custodial history:

The manuscripts were found in a barn loft in the Fairview section of Greenville County, and were given to Steve Richardson by Byron Stone in 1990. Steve Richardson is related to James M. Richardson through his great-great-great grandfather.

Open to research without restrictions. Researchers are advised to contact Special Collections and Archives prior to visiting.
