Robert G. Brooks was born January 2, 1937 in Conway, S.C. He graduated from Furman University in 1961, attended both New Orleans Baptist and Southeastern Baptist Seminaries. He pastored churches in South Carolina, Louisiana, and North Carolina. He retired from Baptist Center Church, Clayton, NC where he served for 24 years. Brooks passed away October 12, 2014 in Clayton, NC.
