The correspondence covers subjects such as adult education, the Duke Endowment, the Board of Trustees Executive Committee, faculty, funds, aid and scholarships, the law library, the library, student activities, and student records, in addition to other subject matters. The Inauguration folder contains well wishes, with one letter from the then oldest Furman alumna, class of 1867.
