The collection is organized into five series: 

Series 1, Sermons, 1942-1999 and undated, is comprised of typed and handwritten sermons.

Series 2, Biographical Materials were originally organized in three binders, containing letters, photos, articles, and other biographical material documenting Broadway’s life.

Series 3: Pastoral Records, 1957-1994

Series 4: Printed Material

Series 5: Personal Memorabilia

The bulk of this collection are sermons and records of sermons, logbooks with sermons, weddings, baptisms, funerals, etc. which he kept consistently throughout his ministry. Included in his various files are outlines of texts of radio addresses, newspaper columns, prayer breakfast talks and prayers at public events-e.g., baseball games, high school graduations. An audio tape of his funeral at First Baptist in Hamlet is included here.
