The mission of the Sanders Science Library is to enable and enhance the information experience of Furman’s science community by providing relevant resources, expert services, and inviting environments. By bridging the physical and the online, the classroom and the lab, and the students and the faculty, the Sanders Science Library strengthens engaged learning across Furman.
The Sanders Science Library is located in the middle of Plyler Hall at the heart of Furman’s campus. You can also find many of our resources and services available at our website.
The Sanders Science Library houses books, reference items, DVDs, and current journals related to general science, physics, astronomy, chemistry, earth sciences, biology, zoology, and physiology. We also provide course reserves and solution manuals for science courses.
Computers with science software and printers are available for the Furman community, along with open study spaces.
