The Furman University Libraries are the heart of academic life for the Furman community. Our programming and activities continuously evolve to focus on emerging themes on the Furman campus including support of the Furman Advantage and Strategic Diversity Plan. The Libraries strive to promote a collaborative culture, connecting individuals, ideas, and areas of study, and to be an agent in the advance of diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus and beyond.

We do this through thoughtful selection and promotion of resources, meaningful programming and services, and in the purposeful creation of inclusive physical and virtual spaces.

• Our resources include access to over a million electronic journals and hundreds of thousands of physical and electronic books, movies, and music.
• Our services include collaborative assignment creation and research instruction for your classes, course-specific web guides, and research assistance for you and your students.
• Our spaces consist of the Duke (Main) Library, the Maxwell Music Library, and the Sanders Science Library. Special Collections and Archives houses unique collections, and the Digital Collections Center creates digital collections to support faculty teaching and research.
