The Library Café and Study Lounge share a separate space in the James B. Duke Library. They can be accessed from the Duke Library front porch. The space can be accessed with a Palacard, and it may be closed during extended university holidays.

The café offers a selection of grab-and-go and made-to-order hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and snacks. View library café menu.

Study Lounge

Maximum Capacity: 14 people

Opened seven days per week via card swipe, the Study Lounge is closed each morning 5AM-7AM for cleaning. Three desktop computers, a printer/scanner, and mobile dry erase boards are available in this space. Students are expected to adhere to published guidelines for cleaning, occupancy limits, and mask use.

Safety features in this space include security video cameras and an emergency phone to contact University Police.
