The Library Café and Study Lounge share a separate space in the James B. Duke Library. They can be accessed from the Duke Library front porch. The space can be accessed with a Palacard, and it may be closed during extended university holidays.

The café offers a selection of grab-and-go and made-to-order hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and snacks. View library café menu.

Summer and Interim Break Hours
Study Lounge
Maximum Capacity: 14 people
Opened seven days per week via card swipe, the Study Lounge is closed each morning 5AM-7AM for cleaning. Three desktop computers, a printer/scanner, and mobile dry erase boards are available in this space.
Safety features in this space include security video cameras and an emergency phone to contact University Police.
