Scheduling Events in the Furman University Libraries:

Requests for Space

Requests for use of spaces in the Furman University Libraries, including the Pitts Room and Haynsworth Room should be made through the 25Live scheduling system.

 

Exceptions:

  1. Duke Library Porch - Reservations for the Duke Library Porch should be made through the Library Porch Reservation Form.

  2. 041 and 043 Classrooms - For information on using classrooms 041 and 043 please contact Jenny Colvin (jenny.colvin@furman.edu), Assistant Director for Outreach Services.

Guidelines

The budget unit head of the department scheduling the facility for on-campus users or the person requesting use of the space for off-campus users assumes responsibility for accidents. This also means filing Accidental Injury Reports with Public Safety.

 

All users of the facility will be expected to preserve the facilities in good order and condition. Groups and organizations are responsible for cleaning up after their event, returning the space to its original condition and making sure trash and recycling are in the proper receptacles within 24 hours of the event. It is also expected that parking and traffic regulations be followed.
