Acquisition

A majority of these letters were originally part of the Basil Manly, Sr. Family Papers given in 1961 by Mrs. T.T. Goldsmith, daughter of Basil Manly, Jr. (Acc. 1961-027). The remaining letters are stamped with a red accession number “01,” meaning that it was found in the library in 1959.
