In 2006, students from Furman’s National Communications Honor Society (Lambda Pi Eta) sorted and re-housed the images in acid-free boxes. Julia A. Cowart created the finding aid in 2018. |

Collection of six hundred thirty-nine glass plate negatives of Furman University and Greenville Woman’s College images, 1915-1933. Besides Coxe, photographers include William Preston Dowling (1872-1936) and James Huntington (1881-1958). Subjects include campus buildings, faculty and staff, student organizations, groups, sports teams, individuals, and May Day celebrations. |
