Biography Search Tips for the Catalog

Use this list to identify other standardized terms (which we must acknowledge may be harmful/problematic) for the minority population you'd like to search for in the catalog.

Adding --Biography after your search term in the catalog can narrow the results set significantly.

A search for astronomy anywhere in a record returns 5,200~ results.

A search for astronomy anywhere in a record AND biography as a subject heading returns 58 results.

You should also search the PASCAL catalog for books from other libraries.
