The Sanders Science Library is a collaborative and engaging student space that fosters scientific discovery and study. It features a science library collection, science reference collection, and the Townes Reading Room.
The Sanders Science Library could not operate without our dedicated student assistants. They keep the collection circulating, serve as a point of reference when the librarian is not in, and open/close the library. Responsible students who would like to work in the Sanders Science Library are welcome to contact us about employment opportunities.
We enable and enhance the information experience of Furman’s science community by providing relevant resources, expert services, and inviting environments. By bridging the physical and the online, the classroom and the lab, and the students and the faculty, the Sanders Science Library strengthens the Furman Advantage. Our science librarian, Paige Dhyne, provides library information and science literacy instruction for science faculty and their courses.
