Acquisition

Donated in 1997 by Samuel McBride Pringle, descendant of Samuel McBride Pringle’s (1839-1862) brother, William Judson Pringle (1834-1905).

Custodial History

According to a 1995 letter in the collection, the photograph and several letters from 1920s came from Bill Shuler.
