Acquisition

Mrs. George A. Adams (Theodora Elizabeth “Bonnie Bet”), daughter of Daniel Townsend Smith, donated the original journal and notebook in 1978. The photocopies of the diaries may have been donated during the period between the microfilming of the journal in 1977 and when the original materials were donated in 1978.
