Maynard S. Watson [1923-2002], a McIver descendant, gave this collection in 1981.

• Andrew Lee Feight’s paper, "Edmund Botsford's Spiritual Voyage: The Evangelical Regular Baptist Identity in South Carolina, 1766-1819," written in 1994, was added to Botsford’s S.C. Baptist Biographies file.
