Major Departmental Goals

Evaluate existing Divisional job descriptions, update as necessary. In conjunction with Human Resources formally update job descriptions, positions, and pay scales as appropriate.

Create a strong pool of student workers who are cross-trained and able to assist with projects throughout departments and the Division.

Cross train among Divisional departments to offer backup and support as needed.

Continue to examine workflow for increased efficiency and codify workflow.

Establish a practice of ongoing collection assessment, create and codify our weeding policy, prioritize areas in need of attention.

Assess and adjust our electronic resource collection according to student and faculty need.

Develop our patron driven acquisition program.
