Circulation

The Circulation Department provides patrons with access to library resources through services, policies, and procedures which optimize the availability of library materials.
Services provided by the Circulation Department include checkout of books and other materials, retrieval of items from closed collections, document delivery pickup, assistance with copiers and audiovisual equipment, and directional assistance. The Circulation Department has primary responsibility for opening and closing the main library.
Personnel
The Circulation Department consists of three staff assistants, thirty student workers, and one librarian:
- Caroline Mills - Assistant Director for Collection Services
- Robyn Andrews - Access Services Assistant
- Jimmy Quinn - Access Services Coordinator
- Tom Neal - Access Services Assistant
The library hires students eligible for federal work-study assistance to work in a variety of positions. For information on jobs available, contact the University Student Employment Office at 294-2184.
