Licensed Materials via the Furman University Libraries
A tremendous amount of scholarship has been licensed for use by the Furman University community through library subscriptions. While some copyright restrictions may still apply, our agreements with these vendors often expand access and educational uses for a variety of works.
As a best practice, faculty are encouraged to link to rather than download/upload content from library subscriptions. If you need assistance in locating content through a subscription, formatting a link to authenticate off-campus, or have a question about potential uses, contact the University Copyright Officer.
Offers access to approximately three million images from over 50 different collections. All images in Image Quest are rights-cleared for non-commercial, educational use including use in reports and projects or on school Web sites, newsletters, newspapers, flyers, and bulletins.
Films on Demand is a source of high-quality video and multimedia for academic, vocational and life-skills content. Streaming video is available in a variety of subject areas.
