*Business and Accounting: Finding Full Text of Popular Sources

Finding full text

Did you find an article online that is behind a paywall?

Furman has up-to-date access to most major publications through our database subscriptions. Follow these steps to find a specific article:

  • Determine if the article you want to read appeared in the print edition of the publication. This information will usually be available near the top of the article with the author. This process will not work for web-only content.
  • Search for the name of the publication here, or in the "eJournal search" box on the library homepage.
  • Once you have located the publication, you may have the option to choose which platform to access the publication with. You may have one you prefer, but be sure to check the years covered.
  • Screenshot of full text access options for the magazine The Atlantic. In the image the coverage dates that end several years ago are underlined and the ones that continue to the present are circled.
  • Finally, once you have accessed the publication, you can find your article either by looking for the edition that it was published in or searching within the journal.

*** Note that sometimes articles are published with different titles in print and on the web. If searching for the title doesn't yield results, try the authors last name and keywords.
