Getting the Books Shown Here

Each of the book images in the gallery at the top and each of the titles of the books next to the person reading them are links to the closest place (or potentially easiest way) to get borrow a copy of the book for yourself. The link selected is prioritized in the following manner:

1) Furman has the book in some format.

2) Another academic library in South Carolina has the book, and you can request it through PASCAL DELIVERS via the given link at no charge to you. Just login with your network username and password, then click the SELECT WITH PASCAL DELIVERS button. The info about the book will be auto-populated in the form. You just click the agreement checkbox at the bottom and press SUBMIT. The book will be delivered to the main library by the PASCAL courier, and you can pick it up at the Circulation Desk.

3) The Greenville County Library System.

4) WorldCat shows a record through which you can access our interlibrary loan request form. We will find a library that has the book and have it snail mailed here at no charge to you. If you're on campus or connected to the Furman network via VPN, you'll see a box to the right that says ACCESS FROM YOUR LIBRARIES and a button that says VIEW ACCESS OPTIONS. Click that button and a box will open saying GET IT FROM FURMAN UNIVERSITY. Under that box title, you should see a link that says REQUEST ITEM THROUGH INTERLIBRARY LOAN. Clicking that link will bring up a pre-populated interlibrary loan request form. Just scroll to the bottom and click the SUBMIT button.
