Monday, February 6

Transportation to the Furman campus will be by van—12noon pick-up in front of the Hampton Inn.  Drop off at James B. Duke Library and walk to the Trone Student Center for lunch.

12:30 - 1:30                  

Meet at James B. Duke Library’s Pitts Room (2nd floor). Walk to the Trone Student Center for lunch.

Return to the Pitts Room in the Duke Library.

1:45 - 2:45   Welcome and introductions, highlights from and challenges at our respective libraries and institutions. Opportunities for discussion - John Tombarge, Facilitator.
2:45 - 3:15 ACS news and update on library proposals from 2015 (Proposals can be found in the Google Drive folder) – Owen Williams, President of ACS
3:15 - 3:30  Break
3:30 - 4:30 Discussion of the Future of the Print Record Working Group White Paper – Jill Gremmels, facilitator (in the Google Drive folder)
4:30 - 5:30 Tour of Libraries - Laura Baines, Outreach Services and Robyn Andrews, Access Services

Transportation to hotel. Van will pick up in front of James B. Duke Library.
6:30 - 7:00

Hors d’oeuvres and drinks - The Lazy Goat (across from the Hampton Inn)
7:00      Dinner - The Lazy Goat (across from the Hampton Inn)

Tuesday, February 7

Enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast at the Hampton Inn. 

Checkout and meet in the lobby for transportation to Duke Library by individual ACS members.

Travel bags may be securely stored in an office near room 043.
