Transportation

Greenville has limited public transportation options but there is a bus route that goes from Furman to downtown Greenville. You may take transfers to other parts of the area. Route 3 picks up outside the main gates at Furman every hour at approximately 54 minutes past the hour. There is a Live Bus Map you can check to see where your bus is.

  • Monday-Friday: 6:54 a.m. to 6:54 p.m., with the last trip departing from the downtown Transit Center at 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:54 a.m. to 5:54 p.m., with the last trip departing from the downtown Transit Center at 5:30 p.m.
 

Single-ride tickets and transfer tickets must be purchased on the bus using the fare box. The fare boxes on the buses are equipped to accept cash only.

  • Full fare $1.50
  • Transfer $ .50
  • 20 ride pass 27.00*

*passes can also be purchased  from the Information Booth at the Transit Center (100 W. McBee Avenue)
